Smart Buildings Hub - Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 March
10:00 - 10:15 Mobile productivity for facility management

There are many challenges an organisation faces to properly develop and manage activity-based mobile apps to streamline multiple tasks including asset tracking, inspections and reporting, incident logging and risk assessments. In this session, BlinkMobile will discuss how to build and deploy these apps, each customised for your specific facilities management practices.

10:30 - 10:45 BIoT (Building Internet of Things) Past, Present, and Future

BIoT has become a buzz word as more and more products have become tied to the internet and we are rapidly moving towards a world where everything and everybody is connected to the web permanently. Automated Logic introduced the first web based Building Management System, WebCTRL, back in the early days of IoT in the ninties. The big questions tackled in this session are “Where will BIoT go next?” and “How will BIoT transform the operations of businesses in buildings?”

11:00 - 11:15 Even smarter buildings

In this power session, Logical Building and BlinkMobile explore the unrealised value that’s released when the traditional silos of building energy sensors, location scanning and IoT are able to be harnessed by intelligent apps. Learn how your building can become a key part of your business, influencing factors such as worker wellness and safety while reaching new levels of sustainability.

11:30 - 11:45 Integrating ‘smart’ into buildings

Is the integration of a ‘smart’ building system easy? If so, why doesn’t everyone do it if it benefits the client, the occupier, and financially makes good sense? The answer is NO and YES – this session will explore both opinions.

12:00 - 12:15 Integrated Analytics, the Cornerstone of a Smart Building

While there’s a lot of buzz around big data in today’s buildings, data is only powerful when it can be organised, understood and used to make smart decisions. Automated Logic have been dealing in data for more than 30 years and are experts in designing and developing analytical tools to run facilities even more effectively. They can provide the native, integral set of analytical tools to deliver the understanding, prompt action and historical record you need. And in providing the resources that can simplify the analysis of building data, we make it big.

12:30 - 12:45 Adopting mobile technology with your BMS for ease and convenience

In this session, Logical Building looks at the benefits of using the native mobile apps BuildingPulse and AfterHours with their Building Management System, WebCTRL.
• Allow stakeholders to view relevant key BMS data without giving access to the system.
• Access data across multiple systems seamlessly with one secure login.
• Reduce facilities management time booking and reconciling HVAC afterhours usage for NABERS.
• Allow traceability and accountability to after hours bookings resulting in either less energy usage or easier revenue raising.
