The Total Facilities Advisory Group was initiated with the aim of ensuring that the event continues to be relevant and topical for the FM industry in Australia. Martin Leitch is a prominent Facilities Management (FM) professional focused on working with in-house facilities management teams to maximise their performance and to strengthen their position within their organisation. He is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), sits on the RICS Oceania Property Board and is a fellow of the British Institute of Facilities Management.
Rodney has been involved in the real estate and construction industries for over 30 years. He has had extensive experience in portfolio, property and facilities management, agency, valuation and development, and he has provided advice to fund managers, government agencies and the corporate real estate sector. Rodney is also involved in leading executive development programs in various Corporate Real Estate disciplines and is the property columnist for the Facilities Management magazine.
Graham offers proven competence in strategic and operational FM and asset management and broad business experience gained over many years in leadership and consulting roles in the UK, Europe and Australia. He is Co-Chair of the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) FM Consulting Council’s global Strategic and Tactical Action Group representing Australia developing series of webinars for the FM and business communities in Australia and wider Asia Pacific region.
Jim Henry has been in the Building Automation and Controls business for thirty five years working with eight different automation brands in Australia and Canada. He has held positions in all aspects of the controls industry including sales, engineering, project management, and company management. He is the Executive Chairman of Logical Building Automation. Jim was the founder of BIG-AA (BACnet Interest Group – AustralAsia) and has been major proponent of BACnet in Australia and around the world.
Starting his career in facilities management as a building manager in Sydney, Sam Khalef has grown into a well-known industry entrepreneur in a very short time. He is the founder of a totally Australian enterprise, MYBOS Pty Ltd., which is an acclaimed software and hardware solutions provider for the facilities management industry. His exposure to both demand and supply side of FM services gives him a unique understanding of the industry issues from multiple perspectives.
Joanne Struck is the Senior Facilities Manager for Cambridge Management Services, and is passionate about Facilities and Building Management. Joanne has considerable experience of over 15 years in the industry, managing every type of project from high value fit outs to building and defect repairs, as well as preventative maintenance and policies & procedures across commercial, residential and mixed-use facilities. Previously holding positions as Executive Committee Member and Office Bearer on both the Owners Corporation and the Community Association, she brings an extremely strong understanding of living in strata and the unique challenges that residents and committees face.
